Weekend in London

(L - R: Kayle, Mat, Erin, Nijay, Amy[Simmy below])

We had a real blast in London! We stayed in Erin's flat and had a two-day whirlwind tour of the tourist attractions. Below you will see Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, and Tower Bridge. We also had a GCTS alum dinner at Erin's place on Saturday night which made the UK seem a little more like home.

We rented a car to drive back and did not feel satisfied with 'Thrifty' so we decided to go with a different company at Heathrow. So, at like 6pm on Sunday night we (Kayle, Mat, Amy and I) split up and haggled with several 'car-hire' companies. Finally we found the right deal and made our 5ish hour journey! What a day!

All in all, London is fun, but pricey. Luckily the British Museum is free - and it is absolutely amazing. We can't wait to return and soak in more history.
